WHY WE EXIST
In 2015, our lives were changed forever when our son, Josh, died of cancer at 27 years old. He was, and will always be a huge part of the lives of all who knew him. The Smiley Smiley Josh Riley Foundation is an opportunity for us to allow Josh to make a difference to the lives of other young adults with cancer.
The memories of the fun times with each other now last a lifetime.
Josh loved to spend time with his family and friends, and we made this special with holidays, all to try make the treatment bearable but most importantly to give us all a break. We want to do the same for all young adults experiencing cancer.
OUR AIM
We would like to share the opportunity to live and make memories together, as families and friends, in a luxury lodge in the stunning, peaceful beauty of the Lake District.
We aim to raise enough funds to purchase, set up and maintain a log cabin which will be specifically fabricated to accommodate cancer patients and their family.
The foundation will fund short breaks for young adults aged 18 to 40 to take time to be together and live as Josh did, full of laughter and fun. We recognise that during cancer treatment this can be missed.
Help us to allow Josh to continue to allow others to celebrate, be together and make memories to last a lifetime by donating and supporting the Smiley Smiley Josh Riley Foundation!
